Playa Cancun comes through for the second time. All the food was fresh and delicious. The wait was not long for a busy Saturday and the vibe was just right. I also had a Playarita drink which is a margarita with a Corona bottle inside. Summer vibes are here.
I never heard of this restaurant until my cousin invited us for my aunts 80th birthday party. I am a huge Mexican food lover!! But I’m always partial to my one favorite place. But I have to say, I fell in love with the chis and salsa here!!! Sooo good!!! The restaurant is adorable too! We had friendly waitress and waiters too. I ordered the tacos and they came out perfect! I couldn’t eat my whole plate because I stuffed my face with chips and salsa but they wrapped my meal up and I took it home to have for dinner the next day. I would definitely come back here for lunch or dinner when I’m in the area!
Located diagonally across the marina where we were hanging we decided to celebrate Father’s Day dinner here. I called ahead for 7+ a high chair and they said they could accommodate us without a problem. When we arrived they had our table all set up(Love round tables for large groups!)
We had ordered take out before but never dined in the establishment. From the host, to the bus boys, to our amazing waiter Sergio, the service was great!! The seafood ceviche was one of the best I’ve had with shrimp, octopus and calamari and was out of this world. The fish tacos made with grilled branzino was delicious and so filling I had leftovers to take home! And, my new favorite drink is their watermelon martini! Perfectly mixed and not too sweet! All meals come with rice and beans and they serve fresh tacos chips and salsa for the table instead of bread. Love this place and will be back! Thank you Sergio for your great service with a smile and for making our Father’s Day special. Easy 5 stars!
